Wednesday 12th February Trip Details

This morning we head over to Blenheim where we will have lunch before making our way to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. Whilst here we will see both the World War 1 & 2 exhibitions – ‘Knights of the Sky’ & ‘Dangerous Skies’. Sir Peter Jackson’s personal collection will be on display in the Knights of the Sky exhibition including rare memorabilia and a mixture of original, flyable and static replica aircrafts. The Dangerous Skies exhibition opened in November 2016 and this broadens the Omaka experience into the more familiar territory of World War 2.
